I hold an Associate of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood through 6th Grade and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching (Preschool–6th grade). I have over 11 years of experience in Garland ISD, specializing in special education, crisis intervention, communication improvement, and implementing engaging educational curricula.
 
This is my second-year teaching at Plano ISD at Boggess Elementary as a Special Education resource teacher for 5th grade. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts, adapting instruction to meet individual needs, and collaborating with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s growth.
 
Outside the classroom, I have been happily married for 27 years and am a proud mom of two daughters and three dogs. I love spending time with my family and traveling whenever I can!
